November - MFRI Leadership Series
The first session entitled
'Creating Self Awareness' will be held on
November 1st from 0900-1200 at
the Red Cross in Indianapolis (414 East
Tenth
Street) Taught by MFRI Faculty Member,
Professor Vanderveer the class will teach
basic leadership through self-awareness.
Self-awareness is basic
to leadership and is essential to one’s
personal
and interpersonal functioning when working
with
other people. Using a self-assessment,
participants will develop an understanding
of their leadership behavior style, explore
strengths and weaknesses, and develop
improvement plans to enhance self-awareness.

November - Operation Rising Star
HHC's own CPT
Kopczynski has been chosen as
one of twelve Semi Finalists in the Armed
Forces
wide Rising Star competition. The 90 minute
competition will be broadcast on the
Pentagon Channel at 1300 hours EST on 12
November.
Six selected finalists will complete on 13
November.

Following the completion of training at Ft.
Stewart in early March 2008, HHC 76 IBCT soldiers will
deploy overseas in support of Operation
Iraqi Freedom. For OPSEC we will not
post the full details on their mission or
deployment location, if you would like additional
information please contact unit or
FRG leadership.
