OPSEC Policy
Operations Security, or OPSEC, is keeping
potential adversaries from discovering the
brigade's
critical information. As the name
suggests, it
protects operations, those planned, in
progress,
and completed. The unit's success depends
on
secrecy and surprise, so they and their
military counterparts can accomplish their
missions faster and with less risk.
Enemies want information, and they don’t
concentrate on only soldiers to get it.
OPSEC is a
vital element in protecting the Army’s
soldiers and missions. Family members
and friends must be committed to
preventing foreign intelligence agents,
criminals, terrorists and other adversaries
from learning what
we know of the
military’s day-to-day operations including
facts about military intentions,
capabilities, operations and activities.

BCT FRG is committed to protecting critical
information relating to our unit. This
